The Killing By Robert Muchamore *****

The Killing is the fourth book of the C.H.E.R.U.B series. In this book James Adams and Shakel are sent on a mission to Trinity College to find out about the terrorist group Help Earth. They bugged the Head Masters office and his car. They also hacked his computer and found very useful information. When their job is done, they went back to CHERUB campus.

Before James arrived in campus, Mr Large (head of actives) organised a game. The whole dinning room is split up into four teams of five. Each team gets 30 eggs which they had to keep for the night in the battle ground until 8 in the morning. Each person was armed with paintball guns. All the teams were dropped off at different points and the battle began. James team came third with 6 eggs left.

James and Dave get sent on mission again but to Palm Hill which is just out side London. On their mission James and Dave have to find out where Leon got the money which he used to pay off all debts, buying a pub and steeling cars which he sells for 50,000 pounds. They have to investigate the murder of Will who was pushed off a roof. They bugged Leon's cabin and the house of Mike, who is a close friend of Leon and a corrupt cop, hoping that it will give them a lead in the investigations.

My favorite part is when James bugged Mike's house and changed his car for a sabotaged clone. After that night John pretended to work for a car company, looked at Mike's car and said "the car had many problems. This made Mike and Leon mad at each other because Mike bought the car from Leon and his family could have died. Mike got so angry that he went to Leon's cabin. Leon and Mike have a long violent discussion and then Leon spills out that Mike killed Will by pushing him off the roof. John hears this over the bug and called the cops.

Thomas,

Is this the last book in the series? If yes, do you know what you will read next? I know these are interesting, but maybe you might want to try a different genre. You can always go back to adventure/mystery.

Uh, why would there be a game in CHERUB campus?
